Claude.ai’s Custom Connector UI only accepts OAuth — no Bearer token field. We’re building an OAuth 2.1 provider to unlock it. Meanwhile, here are three working paths that land the same tools in your hands.

Custom connectors on claude.ai, Claude Cowork, and the mobile app all route through the same OAuth handshake. There’s no way to paste a static API token in the web UI (tracked in anthropics/claude-ai-mcp#112). We’ll replace this page with one-step instructions as soon as our OAuth provider is live.
